Stag Weekend

Held in Edinbrugh on the weekend of the 27th and 28th March 2004. Staying in fountain court appartments we sampled some of the local hospitality and the local Kart Track.

The following is a small sample of the snaps taken and perhaps give a flavour of the weekend.

The karting was courtesy of Raceland. The results of the racing will follow here soon.

 

 

   
Whatever was in the drink turned the holder into a jibbering idiot, though most people denied they could see a difference in thsi case.

 

 

Karting Result

Saturday morning was spent karting and was enjoyed by one and all. Well almost as the Sunday driver tendency in some participants became apparent.

Edds tactical chunder paid dividends and he was one of the fastest drivers though was slowed by his ability to spin at any corner on the track.

A controversial finish to the final saw Martin Wiseman take the chequered flag only to be disqualified for running Edd off the track. Not his first punishment for aggressive driving of the meeting.

A return in the near future has been suggested to try the outdoor Track

 

 

  
Michael Schumacher was seen in the crowd checking out potential competition for his forula one crown after word of this fine body of men was spread.  
Dave attempts to point out the invisible man!

 

 
Martin may have been disqualified earlier in the day but he was the only one in this race. Like the gentlemen he is, he wouldn't kiss and tell!
  
Nick took time to explain how if he had been fit he would have won the karting, instead he had spent the morning on the couch in only his socks.

 

 

The Evenings Entertainment

Having sampled the local curry house and sampled a little more of the local beverage some of us also took the opportunity to sample the local culture. It gave those of us with medical training an excellent opportunity to refresh our memory on the female anatomy.

In the interests of marital harmony those who tried the personal lap dances shall remain nameless. But I may be persuaded to share the names for a suitable fee.

 

 

 

  
They desperately searched for the Karting result in the Sunday papers only to be dissapointed.
 
If breakfast didn't arrive soon there would be trouble.
